*The present radiation level near the venue of 8th IWC:

There are two kinds of data, measured at the ground level, and mesured by the monitering post.

  (1) 0.07 mGy/hour(ground level) and (2) 0.0577 mGy/hour(monitering post)
  The avarage level of radiation of the same place before 3/11 is 0.075 mGy/hour(monitering post).

The present level is a bit lower than the average level before 3/11, and about half of that at Moscow or Hongkong, about one sixth of that at Kerara in India. (There is natural radiation from the ground which varies according to the geographical conditions.)

The venue of 8th IWC has no problem about nuclear radiation.

Sophia University's Yotsuya Campus is located in the heart of Tokyo, the thriving capital of Japan.
